If the graft was taken from the front of the knee, it is possible to fracture your kneecap, simply because part of your bone has been removed. This occurs in 2 out of 100 procedures using the patellar tendon. If this does occur, your knee may be immobilized for a period of time or additional surgery may be necessary.
