Didronel Warnings and Precautions
You should not take Didronel if you:
- Are allergic to Didronel, etidronate disodium, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Have an abnormality of the esophagus that causes problems swallowing. Such problems might include an esophageal stricture or achalasia.
- Have osteomalacia (weak bones caused by a vitamin D deficiency).
There are a number of situations in which Didronel should not be taken, as well as several precautions and warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific Didronel warnings and precautions that may apply to you.
