Skelid Drug Interactions (Cont.)

 
Indomethacin (Indocin, Indocin SR)
Indomethacin can greatly increase the level of Skelid in your blood, increasing your risk of Skelid side effects. Do not take indomethacin within two hours of Skelid.
 
Iron Supplements
Iron binds to Skelid in the stomach, preventing it from being absorbed in the body and making it less effective. Do not take iron supplements within two hours of taking Skelid.
 
Magnesium Products
Magnesium binds to Skelid in the stomach, preventing it from being absorbed in the body and making it less effective. Do not take magnesium supplements within two hours of taking Skelid.
 
Teriparatide (Forteo)
In studies, combining teriparatide with medications like Skelid seemed to make teriparatide less effective. Talk to your healthcare provider before using these medications together.
